The Evangelical and Reformed Church of Montauban is a member of the National Union of Protestant Reformed and Evangelical Churches of France (UNEPREF) which itself is a member of the Protestant Federation of France (FPF). The union is also an associate member of the National Council of Evangelicals of France (CNEF).
We are a Christian church, which shows our commitment to Jesus Christ, Son of God, our Lord and Saviour. We identify with the confessions of faith of the early Christian Church: The Apostle's Creed, The Nicene Creed and the Athanasius Creed.
As a Protestant church, we identify with the great principles that motivated the 16th century reformers and we confirm our confidence in the Bible, Old and New Testaments, as the ultimate authority for life and faith.
As a Reformed church, we maintain close ties (historical and doctrinal) to the first Protestant churches in the 16th century. We are thus committed to the principles of the Reformation and the historic confessions of faith, including the Confession of La Rochelle (1559), the Catechism of Heidelberg (1563), the Canons of Dordrecht (1619) and the Westminster Confession of Faith (1647).
As an Evangelical Church, we are characterized by the centrality of the Bible as the "Word of God" and by the emphasis placed on the necessity of repentance and faith in order to have a personal and living relationship with God.
The church meets at the Temple de la Faculté, 20 quai Montmurat, 82000 Montauban.
